According to “The Good Book”, also known as The Bible, there was a baby born in a little town. The boy grew up and became a man. He knew who His Father was and taught about His Father to all who would listen. There were those that did not listen and decided that this man must be evil, or wrong to teach such things. They sought to end His life. In the end, they succeeded.
The Good Book says that this man was crucified on a cross and the He died for all of us. It is written that He rose from the dead three days later and appeared to many people.
Now, I don’t care if you believe or not. Doesn’t matter to me. But it should to you. No matter how you dice it up, most of the morals and beliefs that all of us carry came from books like the “Good Book”. They are in many languages and are read in many nations by a variety of people.
You might say that it is all a lie, but can you prove it without a doubt? I’ll be honest with you, I can not prove that there is a God. I can not prove that Heaven exists, or Hell or many other things. On the other hand, I can not prove that they do not exist.
On this day, we celebrate the birth of Jesus. True or false matters not. We can all learn from the teachings of the “Good Books” in this world. Do not miss the chance. Read and celebrate the good. It is a good day to do so no matter what you believe.
